Caddisflies Hatch
December/ January
The Caddisflies Hatches in Limay River are really intense, and trigger a frenzied activity in the trout, from about mid-December to the end of January. That's when we usually have memorable days of dry fly fishing!
In the lakes, at this same time the hatching of dragonflies before which the trouts can not resist jumping completely out of the water to take them in the air! Just seeing them feeding in that way is already a sight worth seeing. Fishing with floatating lines using patterns of these large insects can give us a really different fishing day.
